In 2007, a flood disaster response initiative was carried out in Kailali District, covering Joshipur, Thapapur, and Bhajani Village Development Committees (VDCs). The program was implemented with the generous support of Caritas, ActionAid, and Aust Aid.
The primary objective was to provide emergency relief to communities severely affected by the devastating floods.
