Collaborative leadership of elected women representative (HAMRONETRITO)

The Collaborative Leadership of Elected Women Representatives (HAMRONETRITO) program was implemented in Doti and Kailali Districts, specifically in Shikhar, Dipayal Silgadhi, and Badikedar Rural Municipalities of Doti, as well as Kailari and Bhajani Rural Municipalities of Kailali. The program ran from November 2018 to November 2019 and aimed to strengthen the skills and capacities of elected women leaders in local governance.

HAMRONETRITO focused on empowering women representatives by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities. The program included training sessions, mentorship opportunities, and peer-to-peer learning platforms designed to build confidence, enhance decision-making capabilities, and improve their understanding of governance processes.

The initiative also fostered collaborative leadership, encouraging women leaders to work collectively to address community challenges, advocate for gender-inclusive policies, and promote equitable resource allocation. By strengthening their leadership skills and supporting their active participation in decision-making processes, HAMRONETRITO contributed to building more inclusive and effective local governance structures, ultimately empowering women to drive meaningful change within their communities.
